Welcome!
I'm a senior research scientist at the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GeoForschungsZentrum, GFZ) in Potsdam.
My research is focused on geodynamic processes at subduction zones, with particular emphasis to the kinetics of high-pressure mineral phase transformations. It is in general related to geodynamic and plate tectonic problems dealing with plate driving forces and dynamics of the Earth's deep interior. In addition, I'm also interested in the nonlinear dynamics of open systems far from thermodynamic equlibrium.
